Fire Features

One of the beauties of living in the Pacific Northwest is that it rarely gets too hot to spend an evening, or even an afternoon, sitting by a fire. The warmth of a fire is comforting while watching the flames dance gives any night a bit of drama. We’re big fans of fire features and we have lots of ideas for how to add them to your landscape.

Want to feel as though you’re camping in your own backyard? A simple firepit that you can toss logs onto as needed is always an option. For more modern appeal there are fire tables, fueled by gas or electricity, that allow you to watch the flickering flames without the smoke and flying sparks. And if you just can’t decide where you want your fire, there are plenty of mobile options. Just don’t forget the essentials — plenty of comfortable seating, shelter from the rain, and maybe a clearing so you can easily star gaze.
